1. Services Provided

Soofine Care Inc. provides non-medical and personal support services, including but not limited to:

  • Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)

  • Companionship and emotional support

  • Assistance with meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping

  • Escort or transportation to appointments, shopping, religious services, or other outings

  • Other PSW-related services as agreed upon

Services are offered in-home or at approved community locations and are subject to caregiver availability.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients, family members, or legal guardians agree to:

  • Provide accurate information regarding care needs and health conditions

  • Ensure a safe and respectful environment for caregivers

  • Inform Soofine Care Inc. of any schedule changes or cancellations within 24 hours

  • Not request caregivers to perform medical or unsafe tasks outside their training

3. Booking, Payments & Cancellations

  • Service appointments can be booked via phone, email, WhatsApp, or the website form.

  • Fees will be discussed in advance and provided in a written service agreement or invoice.

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may result in a cancellation fee.

  • Payment methods accepted: e-transfer, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.

  • Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise stated in writing.

4. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • All personal and health information shared with Soofine Care Inc. is protected under PIPEDA and PHIPA.

  • We do not share client information without consent, except in emergencies or legal obligations.

5. Caregiver Conduct & Safety

  • All caregivers and support workers are screened, trained, and expected to act professionally.

  • If a client feels uncomfortable with any caregiver, please inform us immediately to request a replacement.

  • We reserve the right to discontinue services in cases of harassment, unsafe environments, violence, or non-payment.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • While we strive to provide high-quality care, Soofine Care Inc. is not liable for:

    • Injuries caused by pre-existing medical conditions or hazards in the home

    • Loss or damage to personal items, unless due to proven negligence by our staff

    • Delays or service interruptions caused by weather, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control

  • Clients agree to use our services at their own responsibility and provide a safe environment for staff.

7. Website Use

    • Post harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content

    • Attempt to hack, damage, or interfere with the website’s operation

    • Copy or use any content (logo, text, photos) without permission from Soofine Care

8. Service Changes & Termination

  • Clients may discontinue services at any time with notice.

9. Transportation Notice

  • Transportation and escort services provided by Soofine Care Inc. are offered exclusively to clients receiving personal support services.

  • These rides are non-commercial and intended solely for personal, medical, or community-related appointments as part of individualized care.

  • All transportation is conducted by a certified PSW with a valid Class G license and insured vehicle.
